Ce sont juste des liens qui vous enverront, à peu près tous, vers des sites où vous pouvez télécharger des e-books (e-livres si l’on ose dire) gratuitement, de plus, ils sont très intéressants de point de vue contenu. Je n’assume rien concernant le dernier line avec lequel je n’ai rien à voir. Je le mets ici car les bouquins sont tellement utiles.

Ubuntu 9.04 is Jaunty Jackalope
As the launch of the next version of the biggest community-supported Linux flavor i.e. Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex approaches closer, users and developers are beginning to wonder whats in store for them in 2009.
Today Mark Shuttleworth, the founder of Ubuntu, announched that Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty Jackalope will be taking over the throne of Ubuntu legacy after Intrepid Ibex.
As we all know, Ubuntu builds are named after animals therefore Jaunty fails to make an exception. If studied closely, the Ubuntu nomenclature in itself is a very interesting subject.
Ubuntu 9.04 would focus on improving boot time, overall OS performance and most importanly web applications. Windows and Mac have already blurred the line between desktop and web applications and now perhaps its time for Linux to be a part of the show.
According to a statement by Mark recently, Ubuntu would surpass Mac OS in the coming years and it seems that Jaunty is the first step towards this revolution.
Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty Jackalope is set to release somewhere in April 2009. Till then, look forward to the release of Intrepid Ibex as it will be bringing a whole set of new features and improvements to the Linux community.
Linux Theme Gets Scarily Close to XP
One clever/obsessive Linux theme crafter has released a XpGnome script that adds custom icons, controls, backgrounds, colors, and makes many other tweaks to make a GNOME desktop look almost exactly like Windows XP. The drawback is that there’s no easy uninstall/undo, so creating a dummy account to try this out on is definitely recommended.
